All,

This new release of the BASh Component is meant primarily to introduce a
whole new concept for handling external values and data structures
within a component. The resources and data needed for the BASh
component to operate have all been moved to an external document
distributed with this version of BASh. This external document, called
the Affix BASh document, will slowly become to central repository for
all resources and data structures which are needed for the BASh
component to operate.

Managing the Affix BASh document is as simple as dropping it into your
4DX folder. Versions have been provided for both Macintosh and Windows.

This release of BASh also provides an expansion again of functionality.
Two dozen new methods have been added to version for use in your 4D
projects.

All total, the v1.5.3 release of the BASh component consists of 167
methods across 16 modules. The manual is over 200 pages long already
and still growing!

And, like all previous releases, all of the code within the BASh
component is ready to use immediately. There are no compiler issues to
be concerned about; all of the variables are typed in compiler methods
for even the most stringent 4D developers. And, there are no
initialization issues to be concerned with. Just install the component
in your structure and start calling the methods within it. It is
_really_ that simple!

Obviously, this is still a work in progress. Watch for announcements
about updates which will become available, as we are continually working
on finishing off the documentation and adding new features to the BASh
component. Our current goal of at least one release a month of the BASh
component is right on track so far!
