Deep Sky Technologies, Inc., Now Authorized Distributor for Stuff ToolKit and Serial ToolKit

Vero Beach, FL - Tuesday, April 17th, 2001: Deep Sky Technologies, Inc., today announced the immediately availability of Stuff ToolKit and Serial ToolKit. As a newly authorized worldwide distributor for both of these 4th Dimension plugins, Deep Sky Technologies, Inc., is offering immediate sales and support services for both of these unique 4D plugins. Deep Sky Technologies, Inc., will be supporting all existing and new customers of this popular line of 4th Dimension plugins available from Christian Quest.

"The addition of Serial ToolKit and Stuff ToolKit compliments very well our existing offering of Internet ToolKit v2.5", said Steven G. Willis, President of Deep Sky Technologies, Inc. "These two plugins provide essential functionality to many 4D databases in today's online world. We are certain that our sales and support services for these 4D plugins will be unsurpassed in the 4D community."

Stuff ToolKit Features

Stuff ToolKit is a 4th Dimension plug-in that provides procedural access to Aladdin Systems Stuffit Engine directly from within the 4th Dimension programming language. Stuff ToolKit is a replacement to Stuff4D, a defunct product originally published by Foresight Techonologies.

The current version of Stuff ToolKit is only available for the MacOS version of 4th Dimension, but a Windows version is expected in the near future.

Serial ToolKit Features

Serial ToolKit is a 4th Dimension plug-in which provides complete access to the serial port, a vast improvement over the native functionality available in 4D's programming language. Serial ToolKit contains a dozen commands to completely manage local serial ports, including open connections, closing connections, port configuration, send and receiving data, and retrieving serial port parameter and configuration infomations.

The current version of Serial ToolKit is available for both the MacOS and Windows versions of 4th Dimension.
