Netscape Communicator v4.x - File Mapping Setup

This page was done using Netscape Communicator v4.7, running in classic on MacOS X.

In order to set up Netscape Communicator v4.x to save PDF files, follow these instructions:

1. Click on Edit, then click on Preferences...

2. On the left side of the window, choose Applications

3. Under Applications on the right side of the screen, look for "Portable Document Format" and if it exists select it and click on Edit.... If it does not, click on New...

4. If you clicked on New... in the previous step, enter all the information as in the screen below. If you clicked on Edit..., just make sure that the "Save to disk" option is chosen.
